Who doesn't love a ball drop! Our first Engineering STEAM activity shows children how to use a tube and loose parts to create a ball drop. Not only will they love posting the loose parts into the tube and watching them fall but older children can create more complicated drops using different lengths of tube and time how long it takes the various parts to travel the length of the tube depending on their weight and shape. This is also a lovely introduction to the concept of weight and gravity.
